Where Can I Appoint A Radiation Protection Advisor?
Radiation Protection Advisors must be appropriately qualified and entered on a register of RPA's which was established by the RPII (now the EPA-ORM) in 2006. The list of registered RPA's is available from the EPA Website. The RPA must have Category I Registration to act as an RPA for Medical, Dental, or Veterinary practices, and category II Registration for Industrial or Educational Practices.
X-Spect Medical Physics Services provides RPA services for Dental Practices, GP practices, Veterinary Practices, Private Hospitals, Industrial & Educational facilities, and is fully registered as both a Category I and Category II RPA
